News: Careifai Launches Next-Generation Context Engine for Psychiatric Documentation

We’ve all struggled with medical record summaries. A typical psychiatric patient file can take half a working day to read through. In clinical practice, the patient record is both a treasure trove and a minefield. Hundreds of notes, scanned handwritten statements, lab results, and hours of audio recordings compete for attention—often containing contradictory information. Making sense of all this without missing crucial details is a real challenge. That’s where our new underlying model, Careifai Engine, comes in.

This model is specifically designed to handle the type of material that dominates psychiatric care: long, fragmented patient narratives where key information can be hidden in seemingly trivial details. In just a few minutes, the model can:

• Read the entire patient file in one go—regardless of whether the data is in text, scanned PDFs, images, or audio recordings.

• Extract relevant content and filter out noise while preserving nuance.

• Flag contradictions and highlight where further clinical assessment is needed.

• Deliver a cohesive overview that saves time and provides a solid foundation for the next steps in the evaluation.

• Perform further analyses in full compliance with applicable legislation.

All processing takes place locally within the EU on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. We support standards like HL7/FHIR for smooth integration. An optional anonymization module allows data to be de-identified on-site before processing—as per one of the EU AI Act requirements for data security and privacy. This enables flexible use even in settings with strict data protection rules.
